Country Park features 8 miles of hiking trails near Greensboro, NC. These trails are well-groomed, well-marked, and well-traveled. With a dog park, two fishing lakes, a veterans' memorial, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and boat rentals, this is a very popular park.
"On Hwy 220/Battleground Ave drive north away from the city. Turn right on Pisgah Church Road. The park entrance will be immediately on the left. You can go straight through the entrance and park near the lake and picnic areas. From here you can warm up on the paved roads. Or you can turn left after the entrance and park in the second parking lot on the right (adjacent to the softball field and Safety Town).
